Year 10 Melbourne camp
In the first week of Term Two, our Year 10 students embarked on an unforgettable camp experience in Melbourne. Over three action-packed days, 44 students and five staff members immersed themselves in the vibrant culture and iconic landmarks of the city!
Here is a glimpse of their adventures:
Day 1: City Immersion
The first day buzzed with excitement as the group explored Melbourne Central and the State Library. They delved into social enterprise at The Big Issue Classroom and enjoyed some friendly competition at Strike Bowling. The evening brought thrilling challenges at the Adventure Rooms' Escape Room.
Day 2: Discovering Melbourne's Treasures
Day two's highlights included a visit to the Queen Victoria Market, a creative workshop at Hamer Hall, and an exploration of the fascinating marine life at Melbourne Aquarium. The students also toured the MCG and the Australian Sports Museum, capping the day with breathtaking views of the city from the Eureka Skydeck.
Day 3: Reflecting on History
On the final day, the cohort visited the Old Melbourne Gaol, where they participated in the Courtroom & Culpable Driving Court Drama.
Despite a busy schedule and plenty of walking between activities, the students embraced every moment and represented the school magnificently.
