School Life - Students receive valuable insight

Recently, the VCE Agriculture and Horticulture class travelled to Rich Glen near Yarrawonga to see and hear firsthand how a successful business has started and flourished over the past 10 years. Ros Vodusek, business owner, spoke to the group about how she and her husband took over the family business and created flavoured oils, salad dressings, dukkha's and the new range of body care products. She discussed operating expenditure, pricing of products, how she designed new flavours and products, and what waste products were made and turned into new products. She also explained how the business had expanded over the years, and Ros and her family have had to re-examine their goals as the business has grown.
