School Life - MY PASSPORT Program

On Monday, 17th September, as a part of their ‘Health’ Studies, the Year 9 cohort participated in the “MY PASSPORRT” program run by the Moira Shire.
MY PASSPORRT stands for Moira, Youth, Prevention, Alcohol, Safety, Substance, Program of Reducing Risk Taking and was facilitated by Sharon Nye.
The Moira Shire Youth Team in conjunction with several other community services and organisations, conducted an engaging program to provide our students with the skills and knowledge needed to make educated and wise decisions when faced with drug and alcohol issues.

Students participated in different learning activities including:

  • Identifying the risks and harm of drugs and alcohol on physical and mental health.
  • Knowledge and awareness of making responsible decisions
  • Keeping themselves and their friends safe
  • Legal ramifications of underage drinking and illicit drug taking

Thank you to the Moira Youth Shire Team, Cobram Police and Ambulance for providing this valuable educational experience for our students.
