School Life - A Unique Exchange

One of the many great advantages of being a Prep to Year 12 School are the many opportunities available for younger students to be involved in the older students learning. Recently, the Year 9 cohort were creating model volcanos as a part of their ‘Plate Tectonics’ unit in Science. They were busy exploring why and how the plates moved and how this influences the distribution of earthquakes and volcanos around the world. The younger students saw this as a chance to ask their always inquisitive questions and put the older student’s knowledge to the test. Moments like these are extremely valuable to younger students and older students alike, and are a unique exchange that can only be achieved in a Prep to Year 12 School.
